Job description, responsibilities and duties

The missions of the Asset Valuation and Pricing Specialist are multiple and transversal. Reporting to the Regional Head of Asset Valuation, he or she would be responsible for:
• Analysis of prices on the used car market
• Organisation of regular Expert Committees to discuss vehicle residual values
• Preparing agenda for the committee and proactively presenting the results of own ad-hoc analysis related to residual value and pricing
• Develop working relations with local management in order to offer “expert” support
• Day to day contact with different business units within company
• Taking active part in pricing policy definition and revenue management
• Continuously work on improving reporting tools, bench marking tools used
• Supporting best practice sharing within the region
• Monthly reporting, cooperation with controlling department
• Prepare data for budget, forecasts and board of directors
• Analysis of the economic situation and macroeconomic trends

• Strong analytical skills: Identifies all aspects of a subject and examines them in a critical way to construct a broad point of view. Is driven by the desire to know more about things, people or events
• Good communication and presentation skills: Expresses his/her messages, both orally and in writing, in an effective, organised way, which is appropriate to the audience being addressed – Executive Committee members from CE region
• Rigour & Accuracy : Is constantly attentive to the precision and thoroughness of the information sent and to the quality of the work; ensures that errors are minimised
• English (mandatory) – Advanced. Daily communication in English
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting skills
• Advanced use of Excel, preferably with VBA, SQL
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
• Good automotive market knowledge
• Team player and problem solving personality
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Understanding of the main principles is beneficial
