For our client, an international company operating in the automotive industry, we are looking for an experienced Group Quality Manager.
This is a senior Group-level role responsible for supporting and developing quality standards across several production locations. The position combines operational and customer quality, quality management systems, auditing and continuous improvement.
You will also functionally lead an international quality team of approximately 5 people.
The role requires approximately 40% business travel to production sites and customers in Slovakia and selected EU countries.
Key responsibilities
- Support production sites in quality management and Group Quality standards.
- Functionally lead and coordinate an international quality team of approx. 5 people.
- Support plants during quality crises, customer escalations and audits.
- Monitor quality performance, KPIs and corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead regular quality reviews with local Quality Managers.
- Perform system and process audits and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards.
- Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement activities across production sites.
- Monitor Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and support their implementation.
- Drive standardization and sharing of quality best practices across production locations.

Personality requirements and skills
Requirements:
– University degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
– Minimum 8-10 years of Quality experience within the automotive industry.
– Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949; experience with VDA 6.3 and other relevant automotive quality standards.
– Strong practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA (AIAG/VDA), MSA, SPC and 8D/problem-solving methodologies.
– Experience with premium automotive customers.
– Experience in an international manufacturing environment.
– Experience in coordinating or functionally leading international or cross-functional teams.
– Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
– Willingness to travel approx. 40% of working time.
– English – C1 (german or other language is a bonus)
